Why So Serious? | WKBW News 7: News, Sports, Weather | Buffalo, NY | Local

Why So Serious? WKBW News 7: News, Sports, Weather Buffalo, NY Local: "After taking some shots, good and bad for his 'why so serious' Joker reference in Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson appeared on ESPN's First Take to explain his celebration"

Bills' Johnson catching on to the NFL game - Bills & NFL - The Buffalo News

Bills' Johnson catching on to the NFL game - Bills & NFL - The Buffalo News: "Stevie Johnson has a history of learning as he goes.
He's been that way his entire life.
'He was always a kid that if you showed him how to do something, it didn't take long for him to figure it out,' said Andre Lewis, Johnson's stepfather. 'And when he gets it, he gets better at it.'
The same can be said of Johnson's football career.
He never played quarterback until his senior year in high school and still became an all-state selection. He didn't play wide receiver until college and became one of the best ever at two schools.
In his third season with the Buffalo Bills, Johnson has gone from bench-warmer to playmaker. He leads the team in catches (44), yards (591) and touchdowns (six), numbers that far surpass the combined totals of his first two seasons (12 catches, 112 yards and two TDs)."

Why So Serious?

This past weekend Stevie Johnson continued his incredible season by taking on the persona of The Joker and defeating Cincinnati's Batman & Robin (Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco). Stevie and his Bills teammates had the last laugh in this one as the scored 35 unanswered points and overcame a 21 point deficit. After scoring his first of three touchdowns on the afternoon, Stevie proceeded by unveiling his undershirt which read, "Why So Serious?" the famous line from the lastest movie battle of Batman and The Joker. In what was another career day for Stevie, he finished the afternoon with 8 catches for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Talented graphic artist and friend of Stevie Johnson's, Rochelle (aka SuperwomanSF on Twitter) has designed a series of "Why So Serious" tees that are now available at http://www.printfection.com/eclipzingdezignz/Certified-Fly/_s_371232. Check them out and support the Buffalo Bills very own Joker, Stevie Johnson.

Another Career Day

Despite another heart-breaking loss for the Buffalo Bills in Toronto, WR Stevie Johnson has continue to shine with his play on the field. Though Stevie wasn't able to score and set a new Bills record for consecutive games with a receiving touchdown, he still managed to have a career day. Johnson brought in a career high 11 receptions for 145 yards, in the 22-19 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Congratulations Stevie!!!
