BIlls' Johnson develops into quality wideout - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

BIlls' Johnson develops into quality wideout - NFL - Yahoo! Sports: "A lack of quality wide receivers was one of the Bills' weaknesses at the start of the season, but in recent weeks, the WR corps has become a position of strength.
No player has illustrated that better than Stevie Johnson, the 224th pick in the '08 draft who began the season as an unproven second receiver and was demoted to a backup role before emerging following back-to-back standout games in the slot. Johnson had five catches and two TDs in Week Five, both all-time highs for the third-year receiver. Two weeks later, after the team's bye week, Johnson had 8-158-1, setting career bests for catches and yards. It was also the fourth consecutive game in which Johnson had a TD catch.
Johnson can work the middle of the field, a skill the team needs without a quality tight end. And by doing so effectively, it has helped make deep-threat WRs Lee Evans(notes) and Roscoe Parrish(notes) more effective."
